Geocaching, also known as GPS treasure-hunting, is a type of electronic treasure hunt. The hiding places are posted using geographical GPS coordinates and can be found with the help of a GPS receiver. Detailed maps can also be used to find the hiding places without a GPS receiver. Geocaching combines hiking in nature with exploration, puzzles, experiencing nature and discovering new locations.
