BRUNNIHÜTTE SAC
From Ristis it is possible to take the chairlift or various routes up to the Brunnihütte. This SAC (Swiss Alpine Club) hut offers overnight accommodation for up to 40 guests. In winters the hut is surrounded by the lovely ski area and is also accessible for hikers via the Panoramaweg trail.

GASTHAUS SCHWAND
From Ristis it is possible to walk along a well-maintained road way, (accessible with wheelchairs and prams), approximately 1.5 hours down to the Restaurant Schwand, where delicious food and drinks to still your hunger and quench your thirst are served at all times. From Schwand it is possible to walk down to Engelberg in approximately 1 hour.
Restaurant Schwand is closed on Mondays from 5 pm. and Tuesdays.

RESTAURANT FLÜHMATT
The Restaurant Flüematt is accessible via the cable car from Ristis in 30 minutes, or on foot from Engelberg in 40 minutes. Our restaurant is designed in a style typical for Engelberg. Here you have the opportunity to order the famous, delicious “Engelberg Älplermagronen" (a local variation of Swiss macaroni and cheese)

RUGGHUBELHÜTTE SAC
A hike to the Rugghubelhütte SAC requires approximately 2.5 hours. The trail leads you through a lovely wildlife reserve area, where you have the opportunity to observe the local animals in their natural habitat.
The Rugghubelhütte offers overnight accommodation for up to
100 guests, and the hut is staffed from June to October.
