What is the Brunni-Freunde society?
“The Brunni-Freunde society promotes tourism in the Brunni region. It provides financial and moral support relating to tourism in the Brunni region (particularly the network of hiking trails) and may also take on other special tasks. It is not affiliated with any political party or religion. The society also fosters camaraderie among its members.”
In other words, the Brunni-Freunde society is a support organisation whose members care about the Brunni region. But the society does not just show goodwill, it also raises funds that flow directly into various projects (hiking trails, benches, shelters, etc.) This also means that the members themselves benefit from the funds – when new benches are provided, for example, or when trails are improved.
