Geocaching

Geocaching, also known as GPS treasure-hunting, is a type of electronic treasure hunt. The hiding places are posted using geographical GPS coordinates and can be found with the help of a GPS receiver. Detailed maps can also be used to find the hiding places without a GPS receiver. Geocaching combines hiking in nature with exploration, puzzles, experiencing nature and discovering new locations.

Further information on geogaching is available here.

There are geocaches on the sunny side of Engelberg, so pack your GPS receiver, make a note of the coordinates, and come check us out!
